Leadership Oswego County

Leadership Oswego County (LOC), hosted by SUNY Oswego's Office of Professional Development, is a nine-month program designed to cultivate leadership and community stewardship in Oswego County. It educates participants on local resources, community issues, and leadership skills through classes, conferences, and projects. Graduates often take on roles in boards, organizations, or public offices to enhance community development. An Introduction to Generative AI

This interactive presentation will provide an overview of popular generative AI tools, including practical ways to incorporate AI into the workplace as well as the challenges and limitations of AI technology. Dignity for All Students (DASA) and Safe Schools Healthy Students (SSHS)

DASA is a six (6) hour class that satisfies the seventh state-mandated workshop required for NYS teacher certification.  SSHS is a series of online workshops that satisfies six (6) of the seven (7) state-mandated workshops required for NYS teacher certification. These workshops administered through SUNY Oswego's Division of Extended Learning in support of degrees conferred through the School of Education.
