Summer Intensive English Program

Learn English Over the Summer

SUNY Oswego unfortunately had to cancel our Summer Intensive English Program (SIEP) in 2021. Our program includes events and travel in group settings that the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic may prohibit. We can not guarantee our ability to offer the rich cultural experiences that have become hallmarks of our program.  We hope to offer SIEP in the summer of 2022. Please contact us with any questions.

Our three and six week sessions are designed for undergraduates, graduate students, exchange students, and working professionals seeking to improve their academic English skills amongst other learners from all over the globe. Our program has a history of success and will help you develop the skills, fluency, and confidence you need to communicate effectively in English.

Why SUNY Oswego?

“Our residents really enjoy welcoming the students into their home and helping them to practice their language skills. It is remarkable to watch the exchanges and connections formed in a relatively short period of time.”
