Diversity and Inclusion

We value the diversity found in each member of our campus community, and we strive to create a community where that diversity is embraced and enhanced. No one is invisible. Our goal is to provide opportunities for all voices, viewpoints and backgrounds, to be heard, valued, and supported.

Upcoming Events

At Oswego, there’s always something going on. We invite engaging speakers from around the world to share their expertise, alumni return to discuss their after-college experiences, and we host accomplished musicians and art exhibitions. You'll also find opportunities to unwind, cheer on your fellow Lakers at our numerous sporting events or catch a movie through our foreign film series.

If you are considering SUNY Oswego, just know that you will find your niche. This campus offers a unique and wide variety of extracurricular, student organizations and student employment opportunities.

It is a great place to fully live the ‘college’ experience. The campus is full of events and organizations to participate in, so most time spent is on campus rather than off-campus. Since the town is small, and there are so many residence buildings, it is easy to make connections, participate in events and actually live a full college experience.

Commitment to Safety

We work to ensure all members of the community to work together to create a safe campus environment through education, collaboration, communication and community empowerment.

Our services support diverse populations including resident, transfer, commuter, non-traditional, special needs, under-represented and military veteran students.

First Year Programs

Our first-year programs will help transition you to a new living and learning environment.
