Aspiring Leaders Program- Virtual

PSWP has limited seats available in the following virtual Aspiring Leaders Program workshops for PEF and M/C State employees. Please share and note that enrollment is on a first come first serve basis, and if the below dates do not work for the participant, please email [email protected] to get waitlist for a future delivery in 2024. Previously waitlisted State employees have already been notified of the following workshops.

 

Juneteenth Payroll Update

In observance of Juneteenth, we're pleased to announce that payroll will be distributed ahead of schedule. Please note that your payments will be available on Tuesday, June 18th, in recognition of this important holiday.

2024 PEP for NYSCOPBA

The Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP) allows eligible NYSCOPBA and DC-37- represented employees in the Executive branch to exchange previously accrued annual leave (vacation) and/or personal leave in return for a credit to be applied toward their employee share NYSHIP premiums on a biweekly basis.

2024 Four Day Workweek Pilot

To provide our employees with a flexible work schedule opportunity during the summer period, garner utility savings due to energy efficiency and management and boost employee morale, we are pleased to offer a truncated workweek pilot for summer 2024.  

 The pilot program will run from June 10, 2024 through August 2, 2024 (8 weeks).  

2024 Summer Office Hours

Summer hours for office employees will begin effective

Monday, May 13, 2024:

Hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a half-hour lunch break.

Summer hours will remain in effect through Friday, Aug. 16, 2024.

Regular office hours will resume as of Monday, Aug. 19, 2024. 
 

May Wellness Group Calendar

The Office of Mental Health offers all employees an opportunity to practice various coping skills and strengthen their resilience through OMH Wellness Groups, which aligns with OMH’s vision of supporting a healthy workplace environment. The groups include deep breathing and simulation exercises to allow employees to practice rather than have group discussions. Group sessions offer a warm, inviting space that fosters relaxation virtually and provides examples of calming techniques and basic coping skills.

With April being Financial Literacy Month, SUNY Retirement Plan Investment Providers have prepared a series of virtual seminars and resources.
