May Wellness Group Calendar

The Office of Mental Health offers all employees an opportunity to practice various coping skills and strengthen their resilience through OMH Wellness Groups, which aligns with OMH’s vision of supporting a healthy workplace environment. The groups include deep breathing and simulation exercises to allow employees to practice rather than have group discussions. Group sessions offer a warm, inviting space that fosters relaxation virtually and provides examples of calming techniques and basic coping skills.

Financial Literacy Month Retirement Plan Webinars

With April being Financial Literacy Month, SUNY Retirement Plan Investment Providers have prepared a series of virtual seminars and resources. Office of Mental Health Wellness Calendar for April

Waiver of Holiday Compensation

The collective bargaining agreements between the State and CSEA, Council 82, DC-37, NYSCOPBA, PBANYS, and PEF allow employee waiver of holiday compensation.

Flex Spending Account Reimbursements for Eligible Expenses (2023)

The Office of Human Resources would like to remind all New York State employees who contributed to a "Flex Spending Account" (FSA) in 2023, that the plan year ends on December 31, but you still have 90 days from this date to send in documentation of qualifying expenses you incurred during the plan year. So, you have until March 31, 2024 to submit claims for services rendered from January 1 through December 31 of the preceding year.

Countdown to Retirement Webinar - NYS Deferred Compensation

New York State Deferred Compensation is hosting a “Countdown to retirement” webinar on Tuesday, March 26th from 12:00pm- 1:00pm.

 Join us for a conversation about important considerations as you get closer to retirement. We will discuss longevity, income sources, asset consolidation, and required minimum distributions. All are welcome to participate.
