NYSDCP Hosts the NY State & Local Retirement System (Pension)

The NYS Deferred Comp is joined by the New York State and Local Retirement System (NYSLRS) to give an educational presentation on the basics of the Pension and how it will help provide for your future. There will be Q&A sessions throughout the webinar. Registration required.
The Office of Mental Health offers all employees an opportunity to practice various coping skills and strengthen their resilience through OMH Wellness Groups, which aligns with OMH’s vision of supporting a healthy workplace environment. The groups include deep breathing and simulation exercises to allow employees to practice rather than have group discussions. Group sessions offer a warm, inviting space that fosters relaxation virtually and provides examples of calming techniques and basic coping skills.
TIAA retirement representative Darryl Fiasconaro will be available for one-on-one consultations on Tuesday, July 1st from 8:00am - 4:00pm . This will be held in the Marano Campus Center room 239. Registration link provided in the attached flyer.

Your Member Annual Statement provides a snapshot of your NYSLRS membership and benefits as of March 31, 2025. We mail printed Statements by the end of June. However, we make Statements available in Retirement Online sooner than printed copies are mailed—and you can sign in to your account now to access yours.
Reminder for retirees: Retiree Annual Statements are available online and we mailed printed Statements by the end of February.
Summer office hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a half-hour lunch break effective Monday, May 19, 2025.

To provide our employees with a flexible work schedule during the summer period, garner utility savings due to energy efficiency and management during this period and boost employee morale, we are pleased to offer a continuation of the truncated workweek pilot for summer 2025.
The 2025 pilot program will run from June 2, 2025 through August 8, 2025 (10 weeks).
Effective immediately, updated instructions and forms are available to assist United University Professions (UUP) employees in submitting formal requests for promotion or salary increases in accordance with the UUP contract’s Appendix A-28.
