We are pleased to announce the Partnership's Tuition Benefits Program for 2025 - 2026 is now available with some enhancements!
CSEA-represented NYS employees can now save more on tuition for degrees, essential skills, and certifications. Eligible employees can receive up to $5,000 in tuition benefits, and an additional $2,500 for certain high-demand NYS training programs.
The Office of Human Resources would like to remind all New York State employees who contributed to a "Flex Spending Account" (FSA) in 2024, that the plan year ends on December 31, but you still have 90 days from this date to send in documentation of qualifying expenses you incurred during the plan year. So, you have until March 31, 2025 to submit claims for services rendered from January 1 through December 31 of the preceding year.
View and Update Your Beneficiaries— Reminder that active employees should periodically review their retirement plan beneficiary designations and update them if needed regarding in-service death benefits. Life circumstances sometimes change, and the beneficiary you may have named before might not be the one you would choose today. Members should also make sure their beneficiary’s contact information is up to date.
