At-Home STI Testing

At-Home STI testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea is available for pickup at the Health Services front desk, or the Oz Health Hub vending machines on campus. Vending machines are located in Penfield's 24-hour room and the Laker Lounge (below Swetman gym in Marano Campus Center). This testing option is for screening only, and should not be used if you are experiencing symptoms.

STI Testing Kits Include:

  • A brown bag
  • Biohazard bag
  • A collection cup
  • Instructions

Before You Order, please review the following:

  • This screening will not test for all STIs, and its accuracy depends on your sexual practices. To assess your risk, we recommend using the STD Wizard to find out what you should be tested for.
  • If you had a new partner recently, wait 1-2 weeks before testing for gonorrhea/chlamydia.
  • If you are experiencing STI symptoms or had potential exposure within the past week (such as a broken condom), or have been the survivor of an assault, this program may not be suitable. Instead, please call the nurse triage line at Health Services at 315.312.4100 option 2. For emergencies, contact 911 if needed.
  • Tests will be sent to Laboratory Alliance, they will bill your health insurance. Make sure your insurance information is up-to-date at our front desk at Health Services. If you don’t want to bill your insurance, please make an appointment to meet with one of our providers to explore other testing options.
