SUNY Telecommuting Policy Extended through June 2024
As previously communicated, the SUNY telecommuting policy issued on Aug. 2, 2021 was set to expire on June 30, 2023. This policy has been extended through June 30, 2024 with no other changes.
NYSLRS Spring 2023 Newsletter
The spring 2023 edition is now available on NYSLRS’ website and contains useful information about your retirement benefits and managing your account.

Fidelity Campus Visit
Fidelity retirement representative Ryan Caufield will be available for one-on-one consultations on Tuesday, June 13th from 9:00am - 4:30pm . This will be held in the Marano Campus Center room 137. Click here for more information on how to reserve a consultation.

New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP) updates (includes the Empire Plan and HMOs) based on expiration of COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Period
The federal government has announced that May 11, 2023 will be the last day of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency period, therefore related health insurance benefits will be subject to your usual plan coverage. This means that effective May 12, 2023, special cost share waivers such as no-cost over-the-counter (OTC) tests put in place during the emergency period will end. However, COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters will continue to be covered in full with no out-of-pocket cost if a network pharmacy or provider is used.
Voya Campus Visit
Our Voya Financial representative, Aaron Cahill, will be holding one-on-one in person meetings on Thursday, May 18th in the Marano Campus Center, Room 226.
TIAA Campus Visit
TIAA retirement representative Darryl Fiasconaro will be available for one-on-one consultations on Wednesday, May 3rd from 9:00am - 5:00pm . This will be held in the Marano Campus Center room 239.
