2024 PEP for NYSCOPBA
The Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP) allows eligible NYSCOPBA and DC-37- represented employees in the Executive branch to exchange previously accrued annual leave (vacation) and/or personal leave in return for a credit to be applied toward their employee share NYSHIP premiums on a biweekly basis.
2024 Four Day Workweek Pilot
To provide our employees with a flexible work schedule opportunity during the summer period, garner utility savings due to energy efficiency and management and boost employee morale, we are pleased to offer a truncated workweek pilot for summer 2024.
The pilot program will run from June 10, 2024 through August 2, 2024 (8 weeks).
2024 Summer Office Hours
Summer hours for office employees will begin effective
Monday, May 13, 2024:
Hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a half-hour lunch break.
Summer hours will remain in effect through Friday, Aug. 16, 2024.
Regular office hours will resume as of Monday, Aug. 19, 2024.
May Wellness Group Calendar
The Office of Mental Health offers all employees an opportunity to practice various coping skills and strengthen their resilience through OMH Wellness Groups, which aligns with OMH’s vision of supporting a healthy workplace environment. The groups include deep breathing and simulation exercises to allow employees to practice rather than have group discussions. Group sessions offer a warm, inviting space that fosters relaxation virtually and provides examples of calming techniques and basic coping skills.
Financial Literacy Month Retirement Plan Webinars
With April being Financial Literacy Month, SUNY Retirement Plan Investment Providers have prepared a series of virtual seminars and resources. Join us this month on an enlightening journey of discovery and personal growth, one that honors the lessons of the past while guiding us toward a future of financial well-being, freedom, and empowerment.

Waiver of Holiday Compensation
The collective bargaining agreements between the State and CSEA, Council 82, DC-37, NYSCOPBA, PBANYS, and PEF allow employee waiver of holiday compensation.
