Resident Dining Meal Plan

Resident Dining Summer Meal Plan

When the dining halls are in operation over a break period, students (with the exception of residents in The Village) will be charged a meal fee of $30 per day.

May 18 - June 8, 2025: Laker Dining Dollars
June 9 - August 3, 2025: 2 Meals with $5 Laker Dining Dollars per day (meal swipes for use in a Resident Dining Center).

How to purchase a Summer Meal Plan

Sign a Break Housing Agreement with Residence Life & Housing. The appropriate Laker Dining Dollars and Summer Meal Plan per day fee will automatically be added to your bill.

Laker Dining Dollars may be increased at any time via the secure portal on our website or visit the ID & Meal Plan Office, 503 Culkin Hall. Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm. Cash, check or credit card accepted.

Unused Meals and Laker Dining Dollars:

  • Meal swipes do not roll over into the fall semester and will expire on August 3, 2025 (Fall semester meal plans begin Monday, August 4, 2025).
  • Laker Dining Dollars, whether included as part of the meal plan or purchased as additional funds, roll over from summer to fall, provided a fall academic meal plan is purchased.
  • Meal plans and Laker Dining Dollars are non-refundable per New York State Law.

Monday, November 18th - Thursday, November 21st
  • Lakeside, Cooper, Pathfinder, normal meals and serving hours
Friday, November 22nd
  • Cooper will serve Hot Continental Breakfast and Lunch, normal hours.  Not Open for Dinner or Late Night.
  • Lakeside will serve Hot Continental Breakfast and Lunch, normal hours.  Dinner (4:30 pm - 7 pm). Gobal Faire not open.
  • Pathfinder will serve Breakfast and Lunch, normal hours.Dinner (4:30 pm - 7 pm).  BBQ not open.
  • Retail Dining locations: Marano Campus Center Palates, Cutting Board, SIPs, Crossroads, Fusion and Lake Effect Cafe open through 2 pm.
Saturday, November 23rd - Saturday, November 30th
  • Lakeside, Pathfinder and Cooper Dining Centers will not be open.
  • Students are not required to have a meal plan during these dates when a resident dining center is not open.
  • Retail Dining locations are not open.
  • Laker Dining Dollars may be purchased via credit card at www.oswego.edu/auxserv for use with Get Food partners Oswego Sub Shop, The Pies Guys and Fajita Grill.  Laker Dining Dollar balances will roll over to the Spring 2025 semester provided a Spring semester meal plan is purchased. LDD balances must be used by May 17th, 2025. New York State law prohibits rollover of balances to the Fall 2025 semester.
  • Wonzones will not be open.
  • Thanksgiving Day, November 28th:
  • Fajita Grill, Oswego Sub Shop, and The Pies Guys not open.
  • Oswego Alliance Church, 371 Thompson Rd, offering a meal for DELIVERY 10 am-12 noon. Call 315-342-5493 by Wednesday, November 27th to order a meal. Please leave your name, phone number, address and how many meals you would like.
  • Salvation Army, 73 West 2nd St. 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Dine in or take out.
  • The ID & Meal plan Office will not be open.
Sunday, December 1st
  • Lakeside and Pathfinder Dining Centers will be open for Dinner, normal hours.
  • Cooper Dining Center will be open for Dinner and Late Night, normal hours.
  • Retail Dining locations will not be open.
Monday, December 2nd
  • All locations resume normal meals and serving hours.

Winter Break 

Winter Session Meal Service Information 2024-25.

Saturday, December 14th Dinner through Wednesday, January 1st
  • Lakeside, Pathfinder and Cooper not open
  • Crossroads in Marano Campus Center will be open Monday, December 16th - Friday, December 20th 8:30 am - 1:30 pm; not open December 23rd - January 5th. All other Retail Dining Locations not open through January 26th.
  • Students are not required to have a meal plan during these dates, when a resident dining center is not
    open. Laker Dining Dollars balances from Fall 2024 will be available for use through January 1st.
  • Laker Dining Dollars may be purchased via credit card at www.oswego.edu/auxserv for use with Get
    Food partners Oswego Sub Shop, The Pies Guys and Fajita Grill. Wonzones will not be open. Laker
    Dining Dollar balances will roll over to the Spring 2025 semester provided a Spring semester meal plan
    is purchased. Account balances must be used by May 17th, 2025. New York State law prohibits rollover
    of balances to the Fall 2025 semester.
  • The ID & Meal plan Office will not be open December 23rd - January 1st.
Thursday, January 2, 2025 through Friday, January 24th
  • Lakeside Dining Center will be open (serving hours posted separate)
  • Meal plan required for on campus students: $30 per day for 2 meals + $5 Laker Dining Dollars. (1 meal
    = 1 swipe).
  • The total meal plan cost will be calculated accordingly for the number of days registered for on campus housing during Intersession beginning with the first day of arrival as notified by Residence Life and
    Housing, through Friday, January 24th.
  • Dining Services will automatically bill the total meal cost to the student’s MyOswego account.
  • All swipe meals and Laker Dining Dollars will be available for use beginning the scheduled day of arrival
    received from Residence Life and Housing.
  • Unused meal swipes expire after Lunch on Friday, January 24th and do not roll over to the Spring
    semester.
  • Unused Laker Dining Dollars balances will roll over to the Spring semester provided the student
    has purchased a Spring 2025 semester meal plan. All Laker Dining Dollars balances expire with
    Commencement Brunch on Saturday, May 17th.
  • Crossroads in Marano Campus Center will be open Monday - Friday beginning January 6th through
    January 24th.
Opening Meals after Intersession
  • Spring 2025 meal plans for returning students begin wtih Dinner on Friday, January 24th
  • Cooper and Pathfinder open for the Spring semester on Satuday, January 25th with Brunch.
  • Late Night begins for the semester on Thursday, January 30th at Cooper.
  • Marano Campus Center and Retail Dining Locations resume normal hours on Monday, January 27th
