Dr. Ofstein joined the SUNY Oswego Residence Life and Housing team in 2024. As Senior Associate Director for Occupancy and Business Operations, he provides leadership for the assignments and business operations of the department in achieving the vision of a once in a lifetime student residential experience and to ensure the highest standards of a student-centered approach. Dr. Ofstein earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary and Primary Education from the University of Tampa, a Master's of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. He has also earned graduate degrees in Distance Education and Criminal Justice from Nova Southeastern University. Outside of work, Dr. Ofstein enjoys tabletop and video gaming, drawing, painting, playing drums, hanging out with his wife and pets, grilling and smoking food, as well as boating on Lake Ontario.
