COVID Tests

Rapid Tests

Testing is recommended for people with symptoms of COVID-19 as soon as possible after symptoms begin. Students experiencing symptoms are encouraged to test by using at-home rapid tests. Rapid tests can be purchased at local pharmacies. Rapid tests are also currently available for students while supplies last at Health Services, in the Mary Walker Health Center. To receive a PCR test, or if you need to be seen for something else, please call 315-312-4100 or make an appointment online through the Medicat Patient Portal

Students who test positive with an at home test can upload their test results to the Medicat Patient Portal. Alternatively, students can email the results to [email protected]. Test results must contain the following information:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Time and date of test
  • SUNY Oswego ID

SUNY Oswego strongly encourages employees to seek medical attention if you develop symptoms or are not feeling well. Employees are encouraged to contact their primary care provider or visit New York State COVID-19 testing site for PCR testing availability. Employees may also be able to get tests through their local pharmacy, primary care provider, or urgent care facility.
