SUNY Oswego’s Graduate Opportunity Program (GOP) provides financial assistance to New York State Opportunity Program (EOP, HEOP, SEEK) graduates admitted to a graduate degree program at SUNY Oswego.
Who is eligible for the Graduate Opportunity Program?
The Graduate Opportunity Program is available to qualified students who:
- Indicate in the application process that they have earned an undergraduate degree while enrolled in the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP), or CUNY Search for Education, Elevation, and Knowledge (SEEK) program and indicate this within the application process;
- Provide documentation of prior status as an opportunity program student within the application process or directly to the Division of Graduate Studies;
- Are enrolled in a SUNY Oswego graduate degree program;
- Are New York State residents.
GOP funds are contingent upon the availability of funding each academic year. Funding levels may vary yearly depending on the number of eligible students.
