The Division of Graduate Studies at SUNY Oswego invites you to attend our in-person Graduate Student Orientation. To make the orientation convenient and available to everyone, there will be a session at the main campus and our Syracuse location.

Graduate Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is our big welcome to graduate school and a great way to connect with peers and future mentors. Our asynchronous online orientation will set you at ease and give you tools that you need to succeed. The online orientation will be available on Brightspace two weeks before your starting term. In-person orientations are scheduled for August 22 at 5:30PM on the Syracuse Campus and August 23 at 10:15AM on the Oswego Campus.

Oswego offers multiple start dates throughout the year, so you can apply when you are ready. Prospective students are encouraged to complete their applications a month in advance of their chosen semester start.
