This award, sponsored by the Oswego Alumni Association, is named in honor of Dr. Charles Turner (d. 1984), a dedicated administrator and educational leader at Oswego. Dr. Turner was a long-time administrator of teacher education at SUNY Oswego and acting president of the university from 1963 to 1965. This scholarship will recognize an outstanding senior who will pursue advanced studies following graduation. Must be graduating SUNY Oswego senior and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Awarded to a graduating SUNY Oswego senior.
- Must be accepted into/applying for any graduate program at SUNY Oswego.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- 1 letter of recommendation.
- Cover letter discussing personal and career goals.
