Flex Spending Account Runout/Claims Deadline for 2025 Plan Year Expenses

Flexible Spending Account (FSA) claims for expenses incurred within the 2025 plan year are due on March 31, 2026.

• Health Care Spending Account (HCSA): Any unused amount more than the allotted IRS maximum carryover limit of $660 will be forfeited. Claims for expenses incurred January 1-December 31, 2025.
• Dependent Care Advantage Account (DCAA) and Adoption: Any unused DCAA and Adoption contributions are forfeited and do not carry over. Claims for expenses incurred January 1, 2024-March 15, 2025.

Don’t lose your money! Submit your requests early to avoid any issues that could cause you to miss the deadline. IRS regulations do not allow exceptions if you miss the reimbursement deadline, regardless of your reason.
