Lowell Hutcheson, Director of Arts Programming

Lowell Hutcheson, Director of Arts Programming, is an Arts Administrator and creative who has been active in the arts since a young age.  She holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with a focus on The Arts in Higher Education from SUNY Brockport, and with a background in music, she is passionate about the role of the arts in student success. Since 2022, she has been performing in the multi-media dance project, The Weight of Water, with ElectricGrit Dance, touring regionally in Upstate New York.  Hutcheson additionally enjoys photography, woodworking, painting, and other creative endeavors.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in German and Slavic Languages from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and occasionally serves as an Adjunct Instructor of German at SUNY Oswego.

Emily Junker, Assistant Director of Arts Programming

Emily Junker, Assistant Director of Arts Programming, is a program manager, arts administrator, and true art nerd who believes that the arts are one of the most powerful tools that we have to connect and engage with each other and with the world around us. She attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and in Media & Communication. Before coming to SUNY Oswego, she held roles at cultural institutions across New England, including the Portland Museum of Art and the Peabody Essex Museum, where she focused on community partnerships, public programs, and donor engagement. She enjoys cooking, baking, and is an avid reader. 

The ARTSwego office is located at 105 Mahar Hall on the SUNY Oswego Campus.
