Employee Training

All faculty and staff, regardless of title, are required to complete mandatory online training courses in Preventing Workplace Violence, Domestic Violence Prevention in the Workplace, Child Sexual Abuse Reporting, Preventing Discrimination and Harassment, HazCom/Right to Know, and Information Security Awareness on an annual basis. In addition, all faculty and staff must also complete Internal Control Essentials training every two years. Mandatory training is provided to new employees within one month of the hire date. Employees can get further information about internal controls by visiting the SUNY Internal Control website which offers training for both management and staff level employees.
