Rebecca Mushtare is the Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies, leading initiatives related to graduate-level academic policy, curriculum, student case management, and new student orientation. She is also the university's Accreditation Liaison Officer for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). 

Mushtare is a digital accessibility expert and has contributed significantly to accessibility efforts across the campus. These contributions include co-founding the Workgroup on Accessibility Practices and the Faculty Accessibility Fellowship. She is engaged in system-wide initiatives, including serving on the SUNY EIT Accessibility Advisory Committee and facilitating the SUNY Accessibility Advocates and Allies Faculty Fellows Program. Additionally, she is the co-founder and co-host of the Tea for Teaching podcast. Mushtare earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from SUNY Oswego and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Computer Art from Syracuse University.
