Transportation Options

There are several free and low-cost transportation options available to help students and community members get around Oswego for work, class, and daily needs.

If you are unsure of where to start, complete the Basic Needs Request form and we will help.

Centro Bus Transportation

All students have access to Oswego Public Transit bus services at no cost. This service makes it easy to travel around campus and the surrounding community without the need for a personal vehicle.

To get started, visit the Box Office in Marano Campus Center (MCC) to receive your bus sticker. Then, check out the bus schedules and plan your route by visiting the Public Transit website using the button below.

Access Oswego 

This service operates throughout Oswego County and is designed to increase access to essential destinations. Access Oswego is a convenient, curb-to-curb transportation service available at no cost for: 

  • Members of the general public 
  • Older adults 
  • Individuals with special needs 

Available Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Employment and Education Transportation Assistance (ETA) 

The Employment and Education Transportation Assistance (ETA) program helps eligible individuals travel to work or class. To learn more or apply, call 315-746-4221 or visit the ETA Website below.

Program benefits may include: 

  • Bus passes for those living along an existing bus route 
  • Gas cards for individuals who own a vehicle 
  • Taxi service for individuals who: 
    • Do not have access to public transportation or a vehicle, or 
    • Need transportation outside of regular bus route hours 

Taxi service provides door-to-door transportation directly from home to work or class.
