This page provides information on childcare and youth support resources available in the Oswego area. These organizations offer early childhood education, childcare referrals, and youth development programs to support students and families.

The Children’s Center 

The Children’s Center, our on-campus childcare center, provides high-quality childcare and early education services for infants through preschool-aged children. The center is licensed by New York State and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), reflecting a strong commitment to safety, learning, and child development. Services include: 

  • Infant, toddler, and preschool programs 
  • Developmentally appropriate curriculum 
  • Licensed and regularly inspected facility 
  • Accredited early childhood education

The Children's Center

Child Care & Development Council 

The Child Care & Development Council (CCDC) supports families and childcare providers throughout Oswego County. The Council helps parents identify licensed childcare options that meet their needs and provides education, referrals, and support services. Services include: 

  • Assistance locating licensed and regulated childcare providers 
  • Parent education and support 
  • Childcare provider training and technical assistance 
  • Community resources related to childcare and early learning

Child Care & Development Council

The Oswego County Youth Bureau

The Oswego County Youth Bureau coordinates and supports youth development programs across the county. While not a childcare provider, the Youth Bureau offers programs and services that support children, teens, and families through recreation, leadership, and community engagement opportunities. Programs and services include: 

  • Youth leadership and advisory programs 
  • Recreation, arts, and summer programming 
  • Youth and family support services 
  • Community-based youth initiatives
