The Break Housing cost is included in the students residential fee, you will not be charged additional fees for Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks. Residential students may apply to stay on campus during breaks (Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring and Summer). Break housing and partial dining awards are available to eligible students who are facing housing and/or food insecurity during the breaks.
The first step is to apply to stay on campus during a break. Visit the Residence Life and Housing Break Housing Website for more information. The break housing application is available in your MyHousing portal.
Once you have applied for break housing then the Break Housing Scholarship will be available on your MyHousing portal. Break Housing Scholarships are available for Summer (housing costs for Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring are already included in the Housing License).
To be considered for a partial break dining award (for summer session), please complete your break housing process with your request for our review. Our Assistant Dean - Basic Needs Case Managers will then reach out to you with next steps in our process to determine eligibility.
