Staff and Faculty Resources

The Office of the Dean of Students is here to partner with you to address student need or difficulty.

Responding to Students of Concern

One way we can work together is in identifying and providing help to students in distress. Faculty and staff are often the first to signal that a student is struggling and are most often in a unique position to provide support to the student due to their established relationship. The Office of the Dean of Students provides consultation and support to faculty and staff regarding a wide array of issues, questions and concerns. Our goal is to work together to maintain a positive, inclusive and safe educational environment for all members of the College community.

Report a Concern

The best way for us to help students is to report a student concern as soon as possible. If you have an emergency or urgent concern, please call University Police at 315-312-5555. All other student matters can be referred by submitting a report. If you have questions about how to complete a form or if one is needed, please call our office at 315-312-5483.
