Campus Recreation collaborates with many different groups on campus to host a wide variety of events throughout the year.

See the listing of semester events below. While we do our best to stick with our schedule, unplanned circumstances may cause cancellations. For questions about events, or to make a suggestion for a future event, please contact Campus Recreation.

Welcome back lakers! Come out and enjoy a Free Open Skate for Students. Sponsored by The Office of the Dean of Students.

Thursday, January 29, 6-8pm

Goat Yoga

Goat YOGA is Back!!! Come partake in an instructor-guided 20 min. yoga session, all while enjoying the company of goats and their handlers OR just come hang with Goats during free Flow.  Yes, really, there will be goats!

3-20-minute sessions will be offered on Thursday, Jan. 29, to up to 50 students per session, first come basis. These classes are beginner friendly! Check out the schedule below:

Class #1: 6-6:20pm
Class #2: 6:30-6:50pm 
Class #3: 7-7:20pm

7:30-8pm- Free Flow, come hang with the goats, take pictures!

Ski & Snowboard Trip

Get ready to ski or snowboard. Campus Recreation and the Ski and Snowboard Club invite ALL levels of ski/snowboarders from beginner to advanced to join us on a trip to Bristol Mountain on Saturday, January 31 at 1pm!  To secure your ticket: the SUNY Oswego Box Office will open sales up on Wednesday Jan. 14. 

Registration Deadline: Friday, January 23 or when tickets sell out

Trip Date: Saturday, January 31 @ 1pm

Location: Bristol Mountain Ski Resort, Canandaigua, NY

Fee: $46 for ski/snowboard rental/helmet/lift ticket

Fee: $31 for lift ticket ONLY
Transportation included from the MCC Circle, Lesson included if needed

To secure your ticket/spot: On Wednesday, January 14, tickets will open up through the SUNY Oswego Box office.  You must purchase a ticket to secure your spot/lift ticket. There are a limited amount of tickets.

A laid-back twist on the classic Ironman—complete the swim, bike, and run at your own pace.

Cornhole Tournament

Teams of two (2) will compete to be the Intramural Doubles Cornhole Tournament.  Games will be limited to 30 minutes. Online preregistration is recommended and closes February 2 at 5:30pm. On-site registration will be open from 5:30pm - 6:00pm at Lee Hall Gym.

Join us for the Texas Hold ’Em Poker Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 1 PM in Marano Campus Center 205.
Free for students, faculty, and staff—no buy-in required.
