Campus Recreation collaborates with many different groups on campus to host a wide variety of events throughout the year.

See the listing of semester events below. While we do our best to stick with our schedule, unplanned circumstances may cause cancellations. For questions about events, or to make a suggestion for a future event, please contact Campus Recreation.

Make and Take Series

Unleash your creativity, one craft at a time! All Make in takes are in Mcc 133, from 1-3pm

Group Exercise Spirit Week

Come out to each fitness center, for theme group exercise classes.  There will be prizes for each class and grand prizes at the end of the week.

Wednesday 10/16: Tye-Dye Day

Splash in Movie

Campus Recreation will host a Splash in Movie as part of Friends and Family weekend, movie Flushed Away. Come lounge in the pool in a tube or noodle and watch a movie. 

Its Free! Bring your Friends and Family, Refreshments provided by Auxiliary Services.

Saturday, October 19, 1pm

The Great Pumpkin Run

Join Campus Recreation for the annual Great Pumpkin 5k Run/Walk around the campus during Family and Friends Weekend
Register online or day of(family/friends day of registration only) MCC food Court beginning at 12noon

Entry Fee: $5 per person which is payable during the day of the race. All proceeds benefit Blessings in a Backpack.
T-Shirts for the first 75 registrations! Great Raffle Prizes, Medal for Top 3 times (men and women)
5K Walk or Run course around campus race begins promptly at 1pm

Saturday, October 19, 8-10pm

Family & Friends Open Skate

Bring your Family and Friends to this year's open skate hosted on Saturday, October 19 immediately following the men's hockey game, 10pm-12midnight

Admission: $2, Skate Rental: $3
Refreshments provided by Auxiliary Services

Halloween Open Skate

Free Open Skate for Students!
Come dressed in your best Halloween costume, for games and prizes!

Friday, November 8, 9-11pm

Late Night @ Lee

Come Glow with us! We will be handing out glow sticks, glow, and glow tattoos!

Bring your friends, wear your neon or white, and head over to Lee.

Rec the Night

Calling all incoming students! Come out for an unforgettable night at 'Rec the Night'! Incoming college students are invited to an evening of recreational activities, fun games, and new friendships. Don't miss out on the excitement and community spirit!

Color Oswego

Come out on Friday, August 30 and participate in the 1.5-mile fun filled color run/walk/roll around SUNY Oswego's west side of campus. It is FREE so bring all your friends! ( SUNY Oswego student only)

Fresh Air, Fresh Start at Rice Creek

Fresh Air, Fresh Start at Rice Creek: discover Nature and Renew Yourself to kick off the semester the right way!

Kayaking, canoeing, lawn games, drumming, meditation, nature hikes, tree-hugging sessions and more. Take the Green bus route to get to Rice Creek.
