Campus Recreation offers support and resources to 25 club sport organizations, including men’s, women’s, and co-ed teams. These clubs provide students with opportunities to engage and connect with peers who have similar interests and goals.
Badminton
The Badminton Club welcomes both recreational and competitive players of all skill levels. Those interested in competition may have opportunities throughout the year. The club practices several times a week at Swetman Gym, and equipment is available if needed.
Baseball
The Baseball Club is part of the Colonial Club Baseball Association. They practice 2-3 times a week at their home field, the Fort Ontario Baseball Fields. The team competes against other colleges on weekends, with the primary season taking place in the fall. Playing time is highly competitive, and tryouts are held during the fall semester.

Cheerleading
Cheerleading is currently suspended, with an anticipated reinstatement date of May 2026.
Crew
The crew team provides students with the opportunity to learn and compete in the sport of rowing. Practices are held 3-4 times a week in Lee Hall for dry-land training. The boats are stored 20 minutes away for on-water sessions. All equipment is provided, and a swim test is required.

Disc Golf
This is a brand new club on campus. Summer 2025 look for a brand new disc golf course at Fallbrook Recreation Center right down the road from Campus.
Equestrian
The Equestrian Team offers an educational and enjoyable experience for those interested in riding and caring for horses, whether in competitive or non-competitive settings. As both a team and an organization, the Equestrian Team plays a valuable role at SUNY Oswego by extending lessons learned in the classroom into an engaging extracurricular activity. The stables are a 20 minute drive.

The Fencing Club offers both recreational and competitive opportunities for students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. They practice twice a week in Lee Hall, and members can participate in tournaments. Equipment is provided.

Flag Football
The Oswego State Flag Football Club is open to all co-ed students. The club competes on weekends, with opportunities to play against local and national teams, and participate in NIRSA Regional and National Tournaments. Practices are held outside at Swetman Field, with indoor sessions during the winter months.

Gymnastics
The Gymnastics Club offers both recreational and competitive opportunities, providing students with a safe environment to train at any skill level. When competitions arise, select gymnasts may be chosen to participate based on various factors. They practice at a off campus site.

The Ice Skating Club is a recreational group offering lessons led by a certified ice skating instructor. The club meets 1-2 times per week at the Deborah F. Stanley Ice Arena, and skates are provided.

The Judo Club is a recreational group that provides students with the opportunity to learn the safe and proper techniques of judo. The club offers level-up testing, instruction from specialized judo instructors, and opportunities to compete.
