Departmental Code of Conduct & Handbook
As a member of the Theatre Department, all students must adhere to our code of conduct. Our department has also prepared a handbook, with information about academic programs and requirements, advisement, adding and dropping a course, production opportunities, student organizations, and student rights and responsibilities.
Student Positions
Students interested in filling leadership positions on SUNY Oswego Theatre productions will require a cover letter and resume, and may be asked to attend an interview to gauge their suitability. Please note that application to a position does not necessarily guarantee selection, and this is set at the discretion of the faculty.
Faculty and staff work as mentors with the directors and designers on the Student Directed Production. If you are interested in working on the production team, it is recommended that you gain experience in stage management and assistant directing (for directors) and in assistant design and production positions (for designers).
