Maple On Tap Logo

Maple on Tap

Maple on Tap is a project that started in Spring 2020 and has grown considerably since then. With the help of auxiliary services, this project involves tapping sugar maples in the sugarbush, collecting the sap, and boiling the sap into syrup. The syrup is bottled and/or served to resident students at a pancake breakfast and additionally sold at the campus store for the broader community.

Seed Share Logo

SeedShare

SeedShare teaches us how to be stewards of our land while growing and eating healthy foods. From starting new seeds to gathering and saving them for later use, SeedShare is an important recourse for keeping beneficial plants in our ecosystem. There is no obligation to save and return seeds, although we hope you will grow as a gardener and seed saver and consider sharing your seeds with SeedShare.

Head to the library to grab some seeds and visit the SeedShare guide online to learn more.

Shining Waters is a weekly program, focusing on removing litter from campus. The program is popular among Sports teams and Greek Life providing students with community service opportunities. Approximately 200 lbs of litter per semester is removed from our campus community. Participants have contributed to healthier ecosystems and a more beautiful landscape by removing waste and restoring natural spaces.
