AASHE stars Gold Rating Badge

STARS 2021

SUNY Oswego earned a STARS Gold rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) for its sustainability efforts. The rating, which measures sustainability in higher education, includes all SUNY Oswego-owned properties but excludes leased properties. The full report is available on the STARS website.

SUNY Oswego has been recognized by NYSERDA for our participation in the REV Campus Challenge as well as our dedication to clean energy and sustainability achievements. We will continue dedicating ourselves to achieve sustainable goals in the future.

ACUPCC signatory member 

On September 15, 2007, President Deborah F. Stanley signed the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), committing SUNY Oswego to achieving climate neutrality by 2050 and setting an example for regional and national sustainability efforts.
