At SUNY Oswego we believe that everyone can make a difference.

We, as individuals and as an institution, share a responsibility to identify, investigate, and respond to public problems in our communities. Our office connects students and faculty to high impact community-based learning opportunities in Oswego and beyond.

Community Service

There are so many ways that YOU can contribute to your community through volunteering. Our team can help you connect with not-for-profits that have opportunities available for you or your student group.

Service-Learning Programs

Service-learning is an educational strategy that pairs meaningful community service with classroom instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience and strengthen communities. We offer a variety of service-learning courses and school-based mentoring opportunities.

Civic Engagement Opportunities

Our campus has many opportunities to engage in civic life. From dialogue training, to voter engagement programs, to public service student employment-- we give you the tools to identify and solve systemic community issues.
