College Store Flex Plan
Students may add up to $600 for the college store flex plan to the semester charges. This opiton is available until the end of the first week of the semester. All refund requests should be made to the College Store. The College Store will process refund requests at the end of the semester. If a student does not request a refund the excess amount will remain available for the student to use the following semester. Health insurance is required of all full-time students (undergraduate with 12 hours or graduate students with nine hours) unless they submit a waiver showing they have medical coverage. A due date for waiver submission is set by Auxiliary Services. For more information regarding this coverage please refer to the Auxiliary Services website.
SUNY Oswego will report to the IRS required information about students who were enrolled for at least one credit hour for any semester during the tax year. Students will be mailed a 1098-T Tuition Payment Statement by February 1.
The 1098-T, along with receipts, should be used by your tax preparer to determine your eligibility for a tax credit. Due to each taxpayer's circumstances varying, we cannot provide tax advice or assistance related to the credit or how to claim the credit.
