What is Quest?
Quest is an annual symposium dedicated to sharing the scholarly and creative pursuits of students, faculty, and staff of SUNY at Oswego. Presentations include talks, competitions, panels, debates, shows, posters, readings, recitals, and demonstrations.

Did you know?
- Quest started in 1980 under the leadership of Dr. Helen Bohmer Daly with 77 presentations. In 2024, students and faculty will deliver 102 posters and 177 presentations/events.
- Classes were canceled for Quest for the first time in 1982, and the practice has continued ever since.
- You can get generous financial support for your scholarly and creative activities (SCA): up to $500 using rolling-deadline student mini-grants, $1,000-$5,000 using regular student SCA grants, and up to $500 to present your work at conferences, exhibits, or performances. April 16th, 5:30-7 PM:
- SUNY-Oswego Syracuse Campus Poster Session
April 17th, SUNY-Oswego:
- 8 AM to 8:45 AM: Display to Archives Celebration at Penfield's Speaker's Corner
- 9 AM to 12 PM: Morning Sessions: student and faculty presentations, panels, awards, movies, etc.
- 1 to 2 PM: "From 2000 to the AI-based Renaissance: Crafting a Career Tapestry in Marketing, Coaching, and The Arts"- the Keynote Address by AUNRÉE J. HOUSTON of Paramount Creative & Strategy at the Campus Auditorium, 132 Marano; also available via Zoom.
- 2:00 to 3:00 PM: Campus Poster Session at the DFS Ice Arena, Jazz in Tyler
3:00 to 6:00 PM: Afternoon Sessions: music, art, & theatre shows, student and faculty presentations, panels, awards, movies, etc.
