It is directed by Professor Melanie (Mel) Licatese and is currently staffed by two highly trained student peer-advising interns.

Resources for Students
Interested in Joining Our Team?
Any current SUNY Oswego student - from any major - is welcome to apply to become a PsychConnect peer advisor through Handshake. Being a psychology major or minor is preferred, but it is not a mandatory requirement.
Please also note that we are especially interested in recruiting students who will be seeking post-graduate education and careers in student support services, higher education administration, human resources, and human services. In addition to reviewing candidates' academic records and overall fit for these positions, we also consider students' genuine dedication to the position and ability to prioritize PsychConnect's mission and responsibilities over other extracurricular commitments (e.g., work, clubs, other internships).
Presently, we only offer year-long paid internship opportunities (10 hours/week) on a very competitive basis. Applications are due on April 15 each year for positions starting the following Fall. For more information about these positions, please contact Prof. Mel Licatese.
