Small Business Development Center
SUNY Oswego partners with the Onondaga Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to provide local county residents no-cost business consulting services to help with a start-up or existing business. A SBDC advisor is available via appointment at the OWIER location at 34 E. Bridge St., Oswego.
Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Oswego County
Part of AmeriCorps Seniors, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) launched in Oswego County in 1973 and has been part of SUNY Oswego since. Volunteers aged 55+ serve at area nonprofits and local organizations, helping to enrich services, expand community impact, and promote program awareness.
Instructor Bootcamp
Established with a grant from the Empire State Development's Office of Strategic Workforce Development, Instructor Bootcamp is taught by SUNY Oswego School of Education faculty and free to qualifying participants. Professionals from high-demand career fields are recommended by regional workforce development partners and trained to serve as instructors in various regional education and apprenticeship programs.
