Tk20 Application Guide

Follow the instructions below to complete an application in Tk20 for field experience or student teaching. 

  • Use your LakerNet ID username and password to login to Tk20.
  • Click on the “Applications” tab.
  • Click on the green "+Create New Application" button on the top left of the page.
  • Select the appropriate application name from the drop-down menu.
  • Complete the application in its entirety. Fields with an asterisk (*) must be completed in order to submit your application.
  • You may save your work to continue at a later date, however your application must be submitted to be processed. Applications cannot be edited or modified once they have been submitted, so please review the application carefully.
  • Once the application is completed and ready for review, click “Submit” at the bottom of the page. 

Required Documents 

The following documents are required for Block 4 of C&I, MST, and CTE Student Teaching Candidates.

All Student Teaching Candidates

  • One page cover letter (error free and reviewed by Career Services)
  • One page resume (error free and reviewed by Career Services)
  • An unofficial copy of your Oswego transcript

CTE Student Teaching Candidates

  • A signed copy of your field experience/practicum log of 100 hours
  • A Statement of your Educational Philosophy

C&I Block 4 Students

Placement Notification

The Clinical Practice and Partnerships Office will notify students via email once their placements are confirmed. Visit Clinical Practice and Partnerships for placement dates and other important placement information. Be sure to like the Clinical Practice and Partnerships Office Facebook Page for updates.

Tk20 has step-by-step tutorials available.

  • Login to Tk20
  • Look on the right side of the screen next to the Administrator’s contact information, locate the Tutorials sub-tab
  • You will see a listing of all of the tutorials; select the one you would like to review
