Faculty Sponsors support student internship experiences by:
- Supporting the Office of Experiential Learning in developing opportunities
- Helping students to understand the registration process for internships
- Reviewing internship and co-op course prerequisites and requirements
- Assisting students in the development of their internship learning objectives
- Reviewing students' approved internship site and role information (Site Verification Form)
- Communicating interns' academic assignments, due dates, and mode for submissions
- Ensuring interns meet their required internship hours, reviewing their final site evaluation (through "Suitable"), and complete/submit all academic assignments
- Assigning an intern's final grade
