Faculty Sponsors support student internship experiences by:
- Supporting the Office of Experiential Learning in developing opportunities
- Helping students to understand the registration process for internships
- Reviewing internship and co-op course prerequisites and requirements
- Assisting students in the development of internship learning objectives that relate to their internship site, role, and academic program
- Communicating interns' academic assignments, due dates, and mode for submissions
- Ensuring interns meet their required internship hours, reviewing their final site evaluation, and complete/submit all academic assignments
- Assigning an intern's final grade
