
Bio
Prior to coming to SUNY Oswego, Stacey was a secondary art teacher in public schools teaching Studio in Art as well as advanced art courses such as Drawing & Painting. She earned her National Board Certification Art/Early Adolescence Through Young Adulthood through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. In addition, Stacey is also an artist working with preferred media of pastels as well as oils and has won awards in regional and national juried art competitions. She also enjoys working en plein air and capture the beautiful landscapes found in Central New York, the Adirondacks, the Genesee Valley, and Vermont. After retiring in 2016 with 31 years as an art teacher, she joined SUNY Oswego to work with graduate students as they transition from student to teacher.
