Nicole Decker serves as the interim Chief Technology Officer at SUNY Oswego, providing strategic leadership during a critical period of technological transition. A dedicated campus leader and proud alumna, Nicole brings nearly three decades of experience in higher education technology, with deep expertise in client services, enterprise systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
Since joining SUNY Oswego as an academic systems programmer and network administrator, Nicole has steadily advanced through senior leadership roles within Campus Technology Services. As interim CTO, she now provides vital continuity and strategic leadership, leveraging her deep experience across campus technology, communication, and project management to consult on innovative solutions and collaborate with key stakeholders.
Nicole holds degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from SUNY Oswego, as well as a master's degree in Communications from Southern New Hampshire University, and has also taught CSC 101.
In recognition of her outstanding service, Nicole received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service.
