Business Advisement Center

The College of Business and Entrepreneurship (CoBE) academic advising model succeeds through the partnership between students, faculty advisors, and the Business Advisement Center (BAC). The purpose of BAC is to provide students with the information and support needed to complete a degree program.

To strengthen this partnership, the BAC's Professional Advisors can assist with the following:

  1. Answering student and faculty questions regarding registration, adding/dropping classes, override requests, and online information.
  2. Auditing of student records, academic probation (AP) advisement, and starfish flag meetings.
  3. Processing forms, such as off-campus study approvals, senior check forms, independent study requests, teaching assistant (TA) requests, etc.
  4. Re-admission processing and second-degree auditing.

The student and the Professional Advisor share the responsibility for the student's progress toward the degree. However, it is the student's obligation to consult with and work with the advisor, select the appropriate courses, and understand and fulfill degree requirements.  Please read our Student Rights and Responsibilities below for more information.
