Business Advisement Center

The College of Business and Entrepreneurship (CoBE) academic advising model succeeds through the partnership between students, faculty advisors, and the Business Advisement Center (BAC). The purpose of BAC is to provide students with the information and support needed to complete a degree program.

To strengthen this partnership, BAC staff act as liaisons between students and faculty by:

  1. Answering student and faculty questions regarding registration, adding/dropping classes, and online information.
  2. Providing referral to other campus student service offices, when needed.
  3. Reviewing student records.
  4. Filling out forms, such as off-campus approvals, senior checklists, etc.

The student and the faculty advisor share the responsibility for the student's progress toward the degree. However, it is the student's obligation to consult with and work with the advisor, select the appropriate courses, and understand and fulfill degree requirements.  Please read our Student Rights and Responsibilities below for more information.
