Laura Marquez (she/her), a native of Colombia, Latin America, holds a Master of Science in Educational Technologies Applied to Education from Universidad Pedagogica Nacional in Bogota, Colombia, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Computer Interaction at SUNY Oswego. She served as a university professor and researcher on digital technologies to make education more accessible and inclusive for five years in Colombia. Laura is committed to using digital spaces to foster equity and diversity on campus and encourages others to discover their own potential. Laura aspires to contribute to promoting the love and pride for one’s own cultural roots and use them as a catalyst to empower people to achieve their life goals and dreams.
