For over four decades, the SIBSS has offered approximately 130 students entering grades 2 through 10, opportunities for academic, creative, and cultural learning experiences over a two-week period during the summer.
Individuals can teach for one and/or two weeks of the program, Monday through Friday: July 22 - July 26 and/or July 29- August 2, 2024.
Instructors are asked to submit a curriculum proposal for each week of the camp they are interested in teaching. Priority will be given to lessons that are adaptable for both younger and older student audiences. Multiple course proposal submissions are encouraged, and may be submitted. We encourage creativity in lesson concepts across varying academic, artistic, cultural, and/or community engagement realms!
Please review the “Course Proposal Information Document” prior to submitting a teaching application to understand the two options for teaching within Sheldon Institute.
