Event Details
Celebrate Family and Friends Weekend at Rice Creek with our "Inspired by Nature" silent art auction and related activities, featuring live music, refreshments, and hands-on art activities. A variety of artistic media and creative interpretations will be represented, with all works fitting the theme "Inspired by Nature." The auction features works donated by local artists and collectors, and proceeds will support RCA's accessible trails project. Bids are placed in person - see below for more details.

Schedule
Friday, October 18 & Saturday, October 19:
- Silent auction: Fri 2-5 pm & Sat 1-4 pm
- Printmaking Workshop: Sat 1-2:30 pm, best for older children (10+) and adults, by Rice Creek Naturalist Linda Knowles
- Live music: Friday 3-5 pm, Dick Drake. Saturday, 1:30-3:30 pm, Rose & the Amateurs.
- Refreshments: Ongoing. Complimentary refreshments including coffee, tea, cider, and cider doughnuts
- Payment and pickups: Sat 4–5 pm, or the following week as needed. Payment by cash or check only, payable to the Oswego University Foundation/RCA.
Parking & Transportation
Free parking is available by the field station building and along our driveway. Students, please check back for an announcement of a van shuttle to attend the event.
