Apostille: International Document Authentication

If you're working or studying outside the U.S., you may need your diploma or transcript authenticated through the Apostille process, which authenticates the legality of documents exchanged between participating nations. Check with your employer or school to find out what’s required.

  • Some schools or agencies may only require a notarized document with a college seal.
  • Others may need an official Apostille from New York State.
  • E-diplomas are often accepted instead of Apostille diplomas and can be authenticated online.
