Dear Members of the SUNY Oswego Community–
I am writing to inform you that we are extending the application deadline for the Voluntary Separation Incentive Program (VSIP) to December 11, 2026, the end of the fall semester.
We recognize that the decision to separate is both important and deeply personal. Extending the deadline will give eligible faculty members additional time to review the program, consider their individual circumstances, and consult with Human Resources and other professional advisors.
As a reminder, the VSIP is a one-time opportunity for eligible full-time faculty members who are considering separation. Participation is voluntary, and applications are subject to university approval.
Complete information about the program, including eligibility requirements, the application process, and updated deadlines, is available on the VSIP website. Faculty members interested in participating must schedule a confidential consultation with Human Resources before submitting an application.
