Our Community

Community at Our Core

As your hometown university, SUNY Oswego puts community at the heart of our mission. We engage, educate and enrich the region through public programs, events and opportunities that bring campus and community together.

SUNY Oswego actively enriches the region through community programs, partnerships, and cultural events that foster engagement and opportunity.

The Office of Workforce Innovation and External Relations (OWIER) serves as SUNY Oswego’s gateway for industry, nonprofit, public, private and community partners. Our collaborative efforts support SUNY Oswego's mission while promoting regional economic and social growth.
