Advancing Completion Through Engagement (ACE)

Benefits

Eligibility

NYS residents eligible for Pell, TAP, or Excelsior aid who meet Oswego's undergraduate admissions requirements. Full-time study is required. ACE students cannot participate in EOP or Honors.

Building futures in STEM and licensed professions

Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP)

Benefits

  • Research and internship opportunities
  • Graduate school preparation
  • Financial and travel support 

Eligibility 

Full-time U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are NYS residents and underrepresented or economically disadvantaged. Majors must be in STEM or licensed professions (law, social work, accounting). A 2.5 GPA is required after two semesters.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)

  • Peer mentoring and tutoring
  • SUNY-wide community with extensive support 

Eligibility

NYS residents who meet academic and income guidelines and would benefit from additional support. Students must have lived in NY for at least 12 months before enrollment.

Diversifying the next generation of educators

Teacher Opportunity Corps II (TOC II)

Benefits

  • Annual stipend
  • Certification exam support
  • Mentorship and tutoring
  • Travel support for field experiences 

Eligibility

NYS residents from underrepresented or economically disadvantaged backgrounds enrolled part-time or full-time in teacher certification programs. First priority given to African American, Latino/Hispanic, Native American, Asian, and Pacific Islander students.
