Over the past 35 years Tim Herron has spent his time creating and building things involving music. As a professional musician, educator and musical program developer, Tim has put his Oswego music degree to use. Releasing nine albums of original material that range from folk, blues and jam to instrumental jazz, Tim has built a following throughout the region. As an educator Tim has created a successful private lesson studio teaching some of Central New York's finest guitarists in various styles including jazz, rock, folk, bluegrass, blues and travis style fingerpicking. Tim also teaches elementary school at Most Holy Rosary in Syracuse, where he directs the chorus and general music classes. A big part of Tim's musical career has been creating music programs in the community. He created the Spotlight Studios music program for adults with disabilities and the PACE Singers elder care singing group which is still going strong eighteen years later. Tim is passionate about instrumental guitar music and providing a holistic approach to guitar incorporating various styles.
