Christine Mosich, Oswego's STEM and Healthcare Career Coach, introduces the 8 Career Readiness Competencies identified by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) that every employer is looking for in new hires across all industries and all types of positions. In this interactive workshop you will identify what opportunities you’ve had to develop these skills and show you how to analyze job descriptions to distinguish what the top qualifications are for each position you may be interested in. You’ll end this session with a clear picture on how you can strengthen your application materials and how to answer interview questions addressing the top skills employers are seeking.
