For this Mindful Monday, join current students Stone Locke '22, Kiara Montero '23, and Career Coach Mary Buske (a 2020 alumna) to discuss gratitude and explore realistic ways you can practice it.

KaeLyn is a queer feminist, a direct action organizer, a nonprofit leader, an author and a professional speaker. She is currently the VP of Organizational Advancement at UltraViolet and formerly worked for the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and Bitch Media. You can find her writing at Autostraddle.com or by picking up her YA book, "Girls Resist! A Guide to Leadership, Activism, and Starting a Revolution" at Penfield Library.
At SUNY Oswego, where she majored in Gender and Women's Studies and Creative Writing, you could usually find KaeLyn organizing a campus event or running back and forth across the student union.

- Send a letter or email expressing gratitude to a mentor who impacted your career journey
- Reflect on Monday’s panel and identify at least 3 things recruiters are looking for when hiring new employees
- Update any or all application materials to reflect skills recruiters are looking for with occupations of interest
- Create a small list of opportunities on campus you want to learn more about
- Identify one action step you plan to take this upcoming semester to get more involved in the offered opportunities on campus
- Explore post-graduate opportunities to continue your education
- Reflect on Thursday’s My Identity & My Career conversation, and fill out the questionnaire for the Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK) Program to be paired with an alum mentor you may identify with to ask questions about their experiences, insight, and advice and grow your network!
- Reflect on Thursday’s presentation and identify at least 3 things you can do to showcase your professionalism in virtual work settings
- Further educate yourself on ways to be an entrepreneur in the workplace by checking out our Entrepreneurship Minor and/or The Innovation Community at Oswego
