Bio
Dr. Jill Pippin is the Dean of the Division of Extended Learning at SUNY Oswego and previously served as Dean for Continuing Education at SUNY Jefferson Community College, and Director of Admissions and Enrollment at Franklin University. Her extensive career has spanned both academic and business positions.
Experience in these roles and as an adult student instilled a passion for granting access to higher education at all levels of the educational ecosystem. Dr. Pippin served as President of CEANY, was a board member for 14 years and leads the SUNY Continuing Education Collaborative. She works collaboratively to extend SUNY Oswego's online academic, workforce development and microcredential programs, and has advanced the assessment of prior learning. Other areas overseen by the Division of Extended Learning include high school concurrent enrollment, International Language Education Center, Youth Camps, Summer and Winter Sessions, military / veteran services and SUNY Oswego's Syracuse Campus. Dr. Pippin earned CEANY's Outstanding Continuing Educator Award and holds a Doctorate in Executive Leadership from St John Fisher University, an MBA from Franklin University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from SUNY Oswego.
